To run your membership, we hold the basics: your name, contact details, scheduling preferences, and the billing information needed to charge the membership fee. We also keep the records the membership itself generates — your itemized receipts, your appointment logistics, your messages with our (nonclinical) support team.

Your health information is different, and it’s held differently. Your medical records are created and owned by your physician’s independent practice. The Overdue dashboard displays that information to you, with your authorization, so your results are legible in one place. Displaying it is our job; owning it is theirs.

We do not sell member data. Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone. And we do not use your health information to advertise to you — your lab results will never decide which products you see. Your trend line has an audience of two: you and your physician.

You can review and update your contact and billing details from your account, export your receipts and reimbursement documentation, and close your membership per your membership terms. For copies of your medical records, you ask your physician’s practice directly — the records are theirs to provide, which is exactly how it should work.

Overdue is pre-launch. The formal privacy policy — including the complete statements about how health information is handled between Overdue and the independent practices — will be published on this page before we take a member’s first dollar. We would rather publish finished language than gesture at certifications we haven’t earned yet.
